Riccardo Mazzotti was born in Genova Italy in 1981 and grow up surrounded by his family business distributing fine wines and mineral water with his father in Genova.

In the year 2000 he moved to the UK where he attended the Birmingham College of Food, Tourism and Creative studies, worked his way up in higher management in the F&B industry in top establishments such as San Carlo Restaurant to pass then to the importation and distribution side of the operations.

From 2005 till 2009, Riccardo has been in charge of regional distribution for a renowned London Wine Importer and Distributor named Ciborio, looking after the West Midlands Region in UK, promoting premium Italian Brands such as Gaia, Pio Cesare, Villa Sparina, Fazi Battaglia, Bertani, Aneri, Casale del Giglio and many more.

In 2009 started his Export experience for a Veneto winery called Tinazzi taking care of the export mainly to European countries, supporting also the twin sister company in the US, visiting and operating in the exciting wine scene of New York, Philadelphia, Atlantic City and Delaware.

From 2012 till 2016 has been working in Shanghai China as resident Brand Ambassador representing Top Premium Brands from Italy such as Ferrari, Tommasi, Vietti, Col d`Orcia, Mazzei, Argiolas, Planeta, Tedeschi, Oddero, Isole e Olena and many more, giving an outstanding contribution to the divulgation of Italian wine culture across Mainland China and hosting dozens of events across the country’s first, second and third tier cities and providing wine training and education in Five Stars and boutique hotels such as The Puli, The Westin, The Peninsula, The Waldorf Astoria, Intercontinental Hotel and many more, also closely cooperating with Italian institutions like ICE and The Italian Consulate in Shanghai.
