Mr. Patrick Ip is a digital pioneer and entrepreneur passionate about the intersection of social good and social media. He is the founder of the Baller Dinner, a multi-generational, interdisciplinary and global community brought together by simple dinners seeking to solve not- so-simple issues. The Baller Dinner has taken place in over 20 cities around the world, and its membership consists of a growing group of CEOs, scientists and influential leaders. At the age of 18, Mr. Ip was elected one of the youngest Californian politicians in history to serve as an Assembly District Delegate. A year later, he was appointed to work at the United Nations, serving as Executive Director for UNAI ASPIRE, which he grew from 0 to 700 universities in the space of five months. He went on to co-found Kip Solutions, a social media consulting firm for social causes, which was named as one of Inc. Magazine’s Coolest College Start-ups in 2012 and was nominated as one of the Top 50 Most Innovative College Companies by the Kairos Society. Additionally, Patrick is a graduate of the University of Chicago and his start-up investors include Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Chicago Booth. Mr. Ip was recognized as a Jefferson Award GlobeChanger, one of the highest honors in public service.
