Martin Radford was born in Bristol England, trained as a teacher and taught high school students both in the UK for 9 years until 1984 and then in Hong Kong for a further 19 years. A passionate Christian and communicator, Martin left teaching in 2003 to enter full time ministry, although at the time it was not clear where this would take him. Martin was quickly employed as a worship and music director in one of Hong Kong’s large international churches. It was during this time he became involved with the work of Inner City Ministries (ICM), a Christian mission working to bringing lifelong transformation to Hong Kong’s South Asian ethnic minority community. Having worked for a further few years as a Pastor and worship director Martin became the executive director (CEO) of ICM from 2010 onwards. He continues to work with ICM’s staff to bring a much needed message of hope alongside engaging empowerment and educational programmes to the marginalized and vulnerable Nepalese community in the Yau Ma Tei area of Hong Kong.
